Canadian assistant referee gets call for game between France and South Korea

MUNICH, Germany (CP) - Canadian assistant referee Hector Vergara will work Sunday's Group G game between France and South Korea in Leipzig, FIFA announced Friday.
The other members of the Winnipeg assistant's officiating crew are Mexican referee Benito Archundia and assistant Jose Ramirez.
The crew's first game at the World Cup was the Brazil-Croatia contest Monday in Berlin.
